Description

Cauliflower Crisps are a delicious, healthy snack perfect for anyone looking for a low-carb alternative to chips. With a crispy exterior and tender cauliflower center, these crisps are full of flavor and make for a great appetizer or side dish. Easy to make and packed with nutrients, they’re a snack you can feel good about!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the cauliflower florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the cauliflower and toss again until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the pieces are spread out to ensure they crisp up evenly.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
  6. If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower during the last 5 minutes of roasting for added flavor.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can experiment with other seasonings like cumin, chili powder, or nutritional yeast for a different flavor profile.
  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the cauliflower with cooking spray before roasting.
  • These crisps are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to restore their crispness.
